Travelling to the Future

In the Covid pandemic I started travelling to virtual places, and especially to green buildings all over the world.

Since then I love to post about future signals, and based on this signals I write stories, like Santos in 2032 and Utrecht in 2030.

I get so inspired how a future signal shows a glimpse of the future. For example, the fact that the number of cities with a vertical forest building is growing. They look amazing and give me the feeling that I want to see this in every city. Besides, it looks beautiful, it serves a greater purpose.

In times of global warming and CO2 rising, the vertical gardens make the air cleaner. The plants filter the air by absorbing fine dust particles and pollutants. The plants also absorb CO2 and produces oxygen. Another great advantage is the reduction of heat in a city, because of the cooling effect off the green buildings.

For me this is a perfect example of a possible future, where cities transform into green eco systems.

Want to get inspired? Read my future stories, and do the virtual walks to the green buildings by yourself.

If you are curious what a possible future can bring you, don’t hesitate to contact me!

March 31, 2022 – Peter van Barneveld Sounds like a science fiction movie, but thanks to an international team of researchers, that developed nanorobots that are capable of removing heavy metals from polluted water, I can dream of a world where we can clean heavily polluted rivers with nanorobots. They developed thermosensitive magnetic nanorobots and … Continue reading Nanorobots cleaning polluted rivers !
